QUIZ night

Another very successful evening. This was the 12 th quiz run by our excellent quizmaster, Andy Kilbride. We had 9 teams of 5 or 6 people. We started with a delicious hot meal of baked potatoes with chilli, or bolognese or vegetarian chilli. There were three rounds of questions, then a break. During the break we enjoyed a great selection of home-made desserts. There were another three rounds, plus an extra quiz that ran throughout the evening. The first five teams all received prizes, as did the winner of the extra round. Many thanks to all the hall trustees who worked so hard, cooking, setting up and clearing away. A very special thanks to Andy for presenting such a fun and brilliant set of questions.
Film evening

This was an excellent event. The hall was packed. We started with home-made soup and rolls. This was followed by the usual great selection of desserts. The film was ‘ONE LIFE’, which was very moving.
