The foreword is by that fine driver, Achille Varzi, This  hardback book runs to 220pp. with many photos of 'Johnnie' in action on some of the most challenging & varied courses in the world, Tunis - Tripoli, Mille Miglia , Monza, Pescara 24hrs, Avus even the Monte Carlo Rally, Turbie & Stelvio Hill Climbs, Brooklands Double 12 plus the more traditional GP scene. Lurani raced anywhere as a wealthy amateur and in later life put back into the Sport by introducing Formula Junior for the up & coming of the late '50's/early '60's, but that's getting ahead of the scope of this Book. This is a great book, well written by one of Italy’s best motoring historians and writers. There are plenty of super black and white period photos. Race results listed. A serious motor racing history. A great book for all you motor racing fans.
